Welcome to our new IGD-TP member Tractebel Engineering

Today we welcome a new participant organisation to the IGD-TP community.

Tractebel Engineering (UK) is a global engineering and consulting company delivering integrated solutions for sustainable energy and built environment projects. Tractebel has decades of experience in nuclear and environmental projects, and expertise in geological disposal, including safety assessment, performance evaluation, site characterisation, and engineering design.  Their teams have extensive experience of working with national waste management organisations (including Architect Engineer for Andra’s Cigéo geological disposal facility), regulators, and international bodies on repository development and licensing. Tractebel invests in innovation through collaborative research projects, including digital twins for repository systems, AI-driven data analysis, and novel materials for engineered barriers.
