Welcome to our new member

Today we welcome a new IGD-TP member, the Department of Chemistry at Umeå University, Sweden.
Our contact is Dr Michael Holmboe, who’s research efforts involve molecular scale characterisation of hydrated clay systems as a function of temperature and water loading, using both experimental (XRD, FTIR, NMR) and molecular simulation techniques. He was heavily involved in Bentonite clay research funded by SKB.
