Postponement Announcement: 8th International Clay Conference

After close monitoring of the global risk assessment by the World Health Organization of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Organising Committee of the Clay Conference Nancy 2020 estimate that it is unlikely that the pandemic will be fully under control by the original scheduled time of the Clay Conference 2020. There is a high probability that the pandemic will still have consequences in terms of public health and administrative and political authorisations at the beginning of June.​

Bearing in mind not only the health and welfare of our participants and of the host community, but also the social events ban in France and the travel restrictions that are impacting our colleagues’ ability to attend to the Clay Conference 2020, the Organising Committee, in agreement with the Scientific Committee, has decided to postpone the 8th Clay Conference to 14 – 17 June 2021.​

We are sincerely sorry to have to take this exceptional decision forced on us by the context of this health crisis. Be assured that all considerations are been taken into account to lessen any inconvenience due to this update.
