First THERAMIN newsletter published

The THERAMIN project has just published its first project newsletter, which provides an introduction to the THERAMIN project and news about the recent General Assembly meeting and the work ongoing in each of the work packages. This includes the first call for training placements (further details and an application form are available on the “Downloads” tab of the THERAMIN website at www.theramin-h2020.eu)

This research aims to improve understanding of the behaviour of various wastes in geological disposal facilities in order to better quantify the processes controlling radionuclide, chemical and gas release from waste forms, to improve the quality of models used in safety assessments and to adequately define the types and magnitudes of uncertainties associated with various processes.
