From 26 to 30 June 2017 the Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) - University of Lisbon - Portugal will host the third PETRUS-ANNETTE 2017 PhD Conference dedicated to Radioactive Waste Management and Geological Disposal.
The event is organized under the patronage of the ENEN Association and consists of two main components:
- A set of high quality interdisciplinary lectures on radioactive waste presented by outstanding European experts
- Oral presentation and poster exhibition of on-going research.
We would like to invite PhD students and early-stage researchers who are involved in any aspects of radioactive waste research to submit an extended abstract of 1-4 pages. We welcome also research subjects from the social and economic areas related to radioactive waste management.
The working language of the conference is English.
Participation in PETRUS-ANNETTE PhD Conference 2017 is free of charge.
The best oral and poster presentations will be rewarded.

Tthe international conference RICOMET 2016 held on 1-3 June 2016 at the Caro Hotel, Bucharest, Romania.
The conference intends to continue the dialogue started by RICOMET 2015 on social and ethical issues, as well as encourage stakeholders and public participation in nuclear science, technology and innovation.
RICOMET 2016 will focus in particular on creating a strategic research agenda on social sciences and humanities in radiation protection, as well as policy making related to different applications of ionizing radiation.
